First Time Around "Introducing The Walker Brothers" (Smash MGS 27076) reveals some interesting facts; the trio is American; they live in England, where they first gained fame; they've got a bright vocal future both domestically and abroad. Consisting of John (real name, John Maus), Gary (Gary Leeds), and Scott (Scott Engel), they're NOT brothers. But they display a commanding sound together in their album debut. Their giant hits, "Make It Easy on Yourself" and "My Ship Is Sam the Sham's "Wooly Bully," nine others. A musical Ft.

Knox. "Bill Justis: A Taste of Hone yThe In Crowd" (Smash MGS 27077) No injustice by instrumentalist Justis in this outing as he captures the flavor of the originals. Note "A Walk in the Black Forest," "Harlem Nocturne." Sounds Great! Good music lovers will find delight in these items "Jerry Vale: It's Magic" (Columbia CS 9244)-When it comes to chansons d'am-our, Vale's the fellow who can sing 'em. His "Be Anything," "Red Sails in the Sunset" are vibrant. Vocal magic.

"Vic Dana: Crystal Chandelier" (Dolton BLP 2041) A consistent hi t-maker, Dana again has the right combination." His "Make the Empty Without You" (Motown), which has the emo-t i n-packed delivery that made "I Hear a Symphony" a GIANT Locally, Masako's version of "Lahai-naluna" (Statco) is rising and fast For brassy sounds, try Al Hirt's "The Arena" (RCA Victor), Bob Moore's "Sko-kiaan" (Monument), and Vic Schoen's "1,2,3" (Mainstream) Tomorrow's hits: Moody Blues' "Stop!" "Yesterday," and "I'll Remember You" (the Kui Lee gem) are first-rate. "Keating Straight Ahead" (London SP 44072) Johnny Heating's bold, brassy sound is unbeatable. French horns, woodwind section, guitars, harps get into the act to wallop the listener. For evidence, try "Ticket to Ride," "Cast Your Fate to the Wind," "You'll Never Get to Heaven." Pop Illeasers The Supremes can't fail to hit No.

Other debut LPs worth examining: "The Toys Sing 'A Lover's Concerto' and 'Attack' (Dyno-Voice 9002) The trio connects with the title Clicks, wails in the teen groove on "Back Street," "Yesterday," "Hallelujah." Great discotheque entry. "They're All Raving About Bruce Scott" (MGM E-4339) At 17, Scott 'z vocal savvy is impressive. He has the warmth of Johnny Mathis, the coolness Andy Williams, the drive of Trini Lopez. Refreshing highlights: "Yesterday," "Soon It's Gonna Rain." Hitsville, U.S.A.

The current hits are explored by numerous artists. Check these: "Jack Jones for the 'In' Crowd" (Kapp KL 1465) Jones departs from his usual easy-listening style, going the beat route. He sounds at ease on "You've Got Your Troubles," "1,2,3," "The Weekend."
