Bush Navy Wife Shoots Self A 20-year-old Navy wife was in fair condition at Trip-ler Army Hospital last night after apparently shooting herself in her Haleiwa home, police said. A bullet lodged in her left lung was to be removed by surgery, a military spokesman said. Police said the woman telephoned her husband, who is stationed at Wheeler Air Force Base, several times before the shooting. He left work early and found when he arrived home she had already shot herself, police said. Furer died Friday in his office following a heart attack. He was 84. Mr. Furer, who was a partner in the firm of Furer, Hee and Furer, had lived in Hawaii since 1924. Born in Alma, Wisconsin, he attended the University of Wisconsin and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

He was a member emeritus of the American Institute of Architects and a or-tue of Architects and a former president of the Hawaii chapter of the AL. He lived at 1909 Aleo Place. SERVICES WILL be held at 5 p.m. tomorrow at Central Union Church. A private burial will follow.

Mrs. Caldwell WAILUKU Mrs. Chester (Barbara) Caldwell died Saturday at Kula General Hospital after a long illness. She was 60. Funeral services were held Sunday at Norman's Mortuary, followed by cremation.

Mrs. Caldwell is survived by her husband, Chester; a son, Curtis Caldwell of New York, a grandchild, and a brother, Curtis Shears of Honolulu. Tsubaki Rites Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in Honolulu Crematory Chapel for Mrs. Mika Tsubaki, 87, of 1039 Webb Lane, who died Saturday at St.

He was born Feb. 13, 1889, in Honolulu. Before his retirement, he was a bookkeeper for Hawaiian Trust Co. for 45 years. He was a member of Kamehameha Lodge, Native Sons Daughters of Hawaii, and the Foresters Lodge.
