The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sadao Watanabe of Wahiawa. She is a graduate of Leilehua High School and Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She is a pharmacist.

Ono is the son of Brig. Gen and Mrs. Allen K. Ono of Fort Sheridan, Ill. He is' a graduate of Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis, and Northwestern University.
