Early medical reports placed his speed aircraft carriers capable of launching the heavier and faster long range attack planes now being developed. ILVU Denies Split in Union ILWU headquarters in San Francisco has written to non-striking ILWU locals here that there is no truth to the reported split in the top union leadership over the west coast shipping strike.

Letters to that effect have been received by the union here from Harry Bridges, president, and Loui. Goldblatt. secretary-treasurer, of the ILWU. Reports of the split between Mr. Bridges and several of his longshore leaders were published first by the San Francisco Call-Bulletin.

Bridges and Goldblatt called the story a lie by the Hearst press. They said they are countering the newspaper story because "unfortunately, a few of our members still are taken in by this stuff."
